Apple, maker of the Mac and iPhone/iPad, will be announcing the latest editions of its desktop/laptop and mobile operating systems at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this month. Some of the new features in Apple’s upcoming OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) are:
- iCloud integration
- Messages App (replacing iChat)
- Reminders
- Notes
- Notification Center
- Twitter integration
Details are currently slim on a new version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS, but there has been some speculation that Apple will be dropping the Google Maps service in favor of its own in-house 3D mapping app. We will keep you updated on the announcements in the next newsletter, so stay tuned!
